Abiyamo is the yoruba translation for mother. She depicts a glorious baby resting its head on its mother's shoulder in total safety and trust in its mothers protection abilities.
The woman with the fruit of the womb dances down an aisle in the most liquified and contorted anatomical forms.

Excitement so great that her body double emanates to mimic her dance moves.
She's called 'Iyin', the Yoruba word for praise. It depicts a pregnant woman thanking the goddess of fertility for the fruit of the womb while she dances and sways with excitement. It's my biggest and most detailed work.
An esthetic representation of jaw pains and its adverse effects on mental health in the form of depression.
